Health Insurance
The two main categories are Major Medical plans (also called Traditional
or Indemnity) and the newer Managed Care plans (including HMO's, PPO's, and POS's). Group coverage provided by an employer or other membership organization is often less expensive for either category.
Dental Insurance

Employers can also select coverage for short term disabilities, which are designed to partially replace the earnings of employees who are absent from work because of a disability.
